3D Sync - Synchronize your files

Nowadays, many people use more than one computer - a PC at work, a PC at home, maybe a laptop; 3D Sync ensures that all your documents and files are copied and up to date on all computers. What used to be a tedious (and hazardous!) task can now be totally automated. When you're leaving office, you can be sure that you'll carry along the latest data and documents just by clicking "Sync-Export"!

3D Sync is also the perfect companion if you are a part of a workgroup. Share all files, automatically send out any updates from your side and easily import updates from others. 3D Sync will make sure that you never overwrite a newer version with an older one or forget to send out new or updated files. All operations are automatically logged.

The computers do not have to be physically connected; you simply put the update on any removable media; diskette, zip-disk, CD-RW, USB-memory. You can email it to the target computer. If needed to, the update can span more than one disk.

You can incorporate your Palm Pilot in your system by automatically transfer word or text documents as Pilot DOC-files. Only updated files will be transferred at next Hot Sync.

The commercial version adds the functionality to synchronize via an FTP-server or via an IP-connection, the ability to compress sync-files and the ability to setup for a different drive/folder structure at each computer. See the order page for full details.
